| Sangeetha Saagara |
| CMANA's highest award Sangeetha Saagara(Ocean of
Music) is given for lifetime achievement in Carnatic Music as a musician,
musicologist or composer. So far, the recipients of this award have been - Dr.
Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, Professor T. N. Krishnan, Mr. Lalgudi Jayaraman, Dr.
M S Subbulakshmi, Smt. D K Pattammal, Smt. Kamala Narayan,Dr M Balamuralikrishna, Mr. T N Seshagopalan. In addition, CMANA honors
individuals for exemplary service to the Association and Carnatic Music by
including them as Honorary Patrons. |

| Endowment prize |
The CMANA Endowment prize at the Music Academy, Madras,
is presented each year to a Carnatic vocalist under 25 years;
CMANA takes pride in considering the winners of this award for a concert tour. |
